Gentle, Trauma-Informed Therapy Rooted in Compassion and Safety

Specialized therapy focused on restoring safety & stability, processing past experiences and fears, and promoting long-lasting healing.

Elizabeth Einig, LCSW

Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a trauma-focused therapist supporting kids, teens, and adults who are healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, and the long-term effects of overwhelming experiences. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, gentle, and grounded in the belief that healing happens within a safe, trusting relationship.

In our work together, I hope to create a space where you can reconnect with yourself, deepen your sense of safety, and grow at your own pace, like a songbird rediscovering its voice and learning how to fly again.

My offices in both Oak Park, IL & Oak Brook, IL offer calm, supportive environments to help you on your healing journey.

A therapy experience built for safety, clarity, and growth.

During our sessions, you can expect:

  • A nonjudgmental, warm, compassionate space - one of the most important things to me in our work together is a strong therapeutic relationship.

  • A collaborative approach to goal setting and treatment planning. I’ll prioritize your needs and pacing to help you feel relief from stress, burnout, depression, and more.

  • Evidence-based strategies to cope, relax, and move through emotions (I like the approach of “feeling AND dealing” - being able to feel your feelings and deal with them in healthy ways)

  • Space to explore patterns, emotions, and inner conflict, as well as explore ways your environment & relationships are impacting your mental health

  • Gentle guidance and actionable steps- I like to give tasks for you to try on your own throughout the week

Whether you’re seeking short-term support, mental health maintenance, or long-term therapy, I’ll make sure your care aligns with your pace and needs as you work towards personal growth.
